Byron Bay Bluesfest 2013
To say the Bluesfest in Byron Bay was amazing is an understatement. It is definitely one of the highlights of my year. Amazing artists come from all around the world for this five day music festival in one of the most beautiful towns in Australia. Every year I say the organisers can’t beat the line-up but each year they go
out there and do it again and I’m sure there will be another stellar line-up next year. This year’s Bluesfest had Paul Simon, Iggy Pop, Tony Joe White, Robert Plant, Santana, the Melbourne Street Ska Orchestra, Rodriguez and the Tedeschi Trucks Band etc etc. And that’s just naming a few. Bring on 2014!
We had an awesome time at the stall with great jams all day and night. Here’s some video from the festival – both from the stall and the stages.

At the stall

Robert Johnson, Jimi, Bob cigar box guitars

Our mate Pat Curley from http://www.learncigarboxguitar.com/, you may have met him at the Bluesfest or another one of our stalls, has some great tips for new and old players alike in his regular newsletters. You can sign up for free at his site so why not?
